This is part two of the previous post. We have now gotten news that Jazzy is sending out emails offering a form of “compensation”. Jazzy has offered a $20 Gift Certificate for their future events, OR a choice between a VIXX shirt or Folder. I’d like to advise all fans who have received this…
VIXX - VOODOO (First Album) Preorders
My sister is going to South Korea in early December and she’s willing to take any pre-orders of VIXX’s new album, VOODOO. It’ll be cheaper than most of the prices you see online, but it won’t include the poster.
If you’re interested, just shoot me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave me an ask. :D
If you’re curious as to what is going on, you can read my fan account of the VIXX Dallas Showcase and how Jazzy Group did VIPs wrong, here.
These are the screencaps (with comments this time!) of Jazzy Group’s second apology post. Jazzy Group deleted their first apology post—which was made MINUTES before the venue opening, check the timestamp—after they couldn’t handle the heat of the comments with people unsatisfied with the organization and asking for compensation. It wasn’t until I called them out on it and posted a screencap of their original post that they reposted their apology, and they’ve deleted the post again just now after getting more comments they obviously didn’t like.
I am sick and tired of this company acting immature about this situation and not taking the responsibility they should be, and at this point mere compensation is not enough. Many people keep saying ‘just be happy they brought vixx to dallas!’ and don’t seem to realize that Jazzy Group has taken many people’s hard earned money with their false advertising. People traveled from out of state to get the VIP benefits they were promised. They hyped up VIPs about meeting VIXX for months, and here we have Jazzy Group admitting that they didn’t finalize ANY negotiations with VIXX’s management about VIP fanevents. Jazzy Group US knew full well what they were doing and continued to lie up to the very last minute. They wanted our money and did not care about how they were going to get it.
No one is mad at VIXX or Jellyfish Ent. for this, they are in fact getting hurt by Jazzy Group just as much as we are in this situation for being represented by such a horrible company, and because of that the fact there aren’t MORE people that are pissed off about this just boggles my mind.
If you attended the Dallas or LA showcase and feel like you were wronged by Jazzy Group and/or Kpop United please join us in taking action against them, and reblog this post to spread the word.
Even if you didn’t attend these showcases, but are familiar with Jazzy Group I ask that you reblog this. No K-pop group deserves to be represented by such an unprofessional company.
VIXX LA Showcase - 2013.11.10
This was probably one of the most memorable experiences of my life. In the worst way possible. I’ve never had such a terrible experience before. From long chaotic lines with no information from the staff to the sudden change up from a fansigning to a simple high five event. Everything was terrible.
I actually feel sorry for VIXX because they were the ONLY redeeming factor of this whole mess. I woke up at 8am to get to the venue area by 8:30am and maybe try to find something to eat and wander around before the line started at 12pm. It SHOULD HAVE started at 12pm, but we all know that enthusiastic fans create their own lines. This isn’t even the part that bothered me though. It’s a given that fans are going to line up because they want to make sure they get in first. I don’t know why the companies never thought of that.
Having traveled all the way from Florida and spent a huge sum of money on my concert ticket, the plane ticket, and the hotel, I’m hesitant to ever attend another K-pop concert like that. I will for sure, never attend another event held by Jazzy Group US or Kpop United.
The tickets should have been handed out at 12pm, but the line stood in place until about 5pm, maybe later. I honestly did not move from my place until just before the concert started. Again, not one of the main things I was frustrated with.
My main issue is that I paid over $200 to purchase a VIP Pit ticket that promised a fansigning, but what did I get? A high five event that Jellyfish and VIXX apparently “graciously” agreed to do because a fansigning was never part of the deal. If I knew that there would be no fansigning, but instead a measly high five event where I hardly get to see the members faces clearly, I would never have purchased the ticket. VIXX is great, and I love them, but my bank account is bleeding for nothing. I could have been prepared for their new album coming out.
I went to the concert hoping for an awesome time in LA (my first time) with my sister and partying it up with VIXX. Instead, I got sick waiting in line and ended up dragging my tired and weak body all the way back to Florida on a plane and getting back to school and work unhappy. This is not at all VIXX’s fault, but the fact that this showcase was put together so terribly sheds a negative light on them.
These companies aren’t getting my pity or thanks for ripping me off. Sure they brought VIXX to the US, but you know where my money went? Obviously not to VIXX. They get a “flat rate” pay, meaning that all that money for the fansigning? Who knows where it went.
The fact that they advertised the VIP Pit tickets to have a fansigning and a meet and greet shows that we were misled into purchasing the tickets. This is fraud and false advertisement. Pacifying the angry crowd with words blaming one side doesn’t solve anything. And Jazzy Group? Well they’ve basically thrown us fans into the dust and laughed at us because they’re based in Malaysia. They may have a branch in Texas, but when they get sued, it’s so much easier for them to pack up and leave. It’s not as big an issue for them as it is for Kpop United, which is probably the reason why Jazzy Group has ignored everyone and even had the guts to post a picture of fans waiting in line at the LA showcase. Excuse me Jazzy Group, but I was definitely not happy waiting there.
No matter how much time passes, I will still be very pissed.
There’s more to say about this here.
|hey!! i have a question since youre going to vixx showcase and you bought your tickets from flavouros... did you ever end up getting the tickets from flavourous???|
No, they were going back and forth about the tickets, but they finally said that they’ll have out tickets at the Will Call window for us. If we paid for shipping for the tickets, they’ll refund that money. I was really worried too, but it looks like we’ll just have to go a bit early to pick up our tickets. The window is supposed to open at 6AM. :D
